Advanzia's Corporate Social Responsibility

Advanzia’s commitment to sustainability

We are a digital bank that offers accessible finance through user-friendly digital solutions. As a credit card and payment solutions provider, we are committed to responsible lending, reducing our carbon emissions, and providing a great place to work for our employees.
At Advanzia, we see responsibility as a cornerstone of our business strategy. Guided by our core values – simplicity, transparency, collaboration and sustainability – we are committed to integrating responsible and sustainable practices across our products, services, operations and workplace.

Our sustainability strategy is built on four key pillars that guide us in how we operate and grow while contributing to a more inclusive, equitable and climate-conscious future.

Responsible business conduct

Integrity and strong governance are essential to how we operate. Advanzia follows a robust compliance framework supported by clear policies on anti-money laundering, data protection, whistleblowing, diversity and conflict of interest.

In 2024, we completed our first Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) and mapped material issues against the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). We are proactively integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into our business and risk management strategies to prepare for evolving regulatory requirements.

Sustainable and digital credit card and payment solutions

As a digital bank operating across Europe, we continuously look for ways to make finance more accessible, efficient and sustainable. We combine digital innovation with environmental responsibility to deliver user-friendly, paperless solutions to our nearly 3 million customers.

Key initiatives include:

– Launch of a fully digital customer onboarding journey in Germany, Austria and Italy, replacing paper-based forms with secure e-signature, eID verification and online KYC checks.

– Introduction of a digital card, with a phased rollout across all markets, offering customers instant access while reducing plastic production.

– Extension of our card renewal cycle from three to five years, reducing plastic waste across our customer base.

– Transition to a cloud-native IT infrastructure, helping cut our carbon footprint while supporting secure and scalable operations.
