Advanzia Bank’s Advanziakonto wins “Best Deposit Account” at the Finanz-Awards 2019

Winners of the Finanz Awards 2019 issued by the DISQ

Luxembourg/Munsbach, 5th July 2019 – Advanzia Bank has emerged as a winner at this year's “Finanz-Awards" within the “Investment" product category. The Advanziakonto was judged “Best Deposit Account for Existing Customers" and an outstanding savings product thanks to its above-average interest rates. Eleven providers of deposit accounts were tested throughout Germany.

"Our approach of offering a simple and transparent product with an attractive interest rate and fast and competent service has proven its worth," says Pieter Verhoeckx, Chief Customer Relations Officer at Advanzia Bank. "The Advanziakonto offers not only new customers, but also our existing customers, permanently high interest rates and is therefore a very attractive and flexible investment. We see this award as an incentive to continue offering our customers the best conditions and first-class service in the future".

The award is based on independent research conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) in cooperation with FMH-Finanzberatung (financial consultants) and the news channel n-tv. In addition to evaluating the product conditions, the best providers were also subjected to comprehensive service tests. Since 2013, the Finanz-Awards have been providing greater transparency for consumers in the financial sector.

About the Finanz-Awards
Together with FMH-Finanzberatung and the news channel n-tv, the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ) analysed the financial products and companies. Over a period of six months, FMH-Finanzberatung assessed the services of 225 financial institutions, insurers and brokers, looking at 13 product categories including current accounts, investments, instalment loan facilities, construction financing and credit cards. The best companies were then subjected to comprehensive service tests, the basis of which involved undercover telephone consultations and email enquiries (“mystery shopping") as well as analyses of the providers' websites. The evaluation comprised over 2,250 data records and around 1,400 customer service trials.
