Information Security Trainee

Kickstart your career in our Information Security Office team!

Join our Information Security Office team and gain hands-on experience in IT risk, compliance and security governance. As an Information Security Trainee, you will support key activities such as ICT risk assessments, security reporting and compliance monitoring – while learning how a modern digital bank protects its systems and data.

You will work closely with experienced colleagues, contribute to real security initiatives, and develop practical skills that will help you start your career in banking or cybersecurity.

This opportunity is a full-time internship of up to 12 months. To apply, you need a valid student visa (EU/EEA) or authorisation to work in Luxembourg. We welcome students who are currently enrolled at a university or who have completed their school or Bachelor’s degree within the past 12 months. About the job | Your responsibilities

Career image
  • Security assessments – Support and conduct security assessments in line with our testing programme and compliance monitoring plan.
  • ICT Risk Register – Maintain and update the ICT Risk Register, including incidents, issues and remediation progress.
  • Third-party risk management – Assist with onboarding and due diligence of ICT third parties, including DORA-related checks
  • Security programme support – Support the team and IT colleagues in executing and implementing the security programme.
  • Assistance – Participate in security committees and meetings, including documentation and tracking follow-up actions.

About you | Your background, skills and personality

Career image
  • Fresh grad, student or degree in hand? – You either are enrolled or recently completed a degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Assessment skills & risk evaluation – You are comfortable reviewing information, identifying risks and supporting assessment activities.
  • Attention to detail – You are organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and structured records.
  • Clear communicator – You are comfortable documenting outcomes and following up on actions in a structured and reliable way.
  • Language lover – Fluent in English? Perfect, it’s our corporate language! If you also speak another European language, that’s a bonus.
