Fraud Prevention Officer

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and analytical Fraud Prevention Officer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will help us identify unusual activity, support customers with clarity and empathy, and contribute to a seamless and secure payment experience.

As a Fraud Prevention Officer, you will contribute to safeguarding our customers by combining analytical thinking, structured case handling and excellent customer communication. Your main tasks will include:

  • Monitoring customer activity to identify unusual patterns or behaviours that may require further review.
  • Performing structured checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Supporting customers and internal teams by clarifying fraud related queries and guiding them through the right steps.
  • Managing fraud related cases from initial review to proper documentation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across teams and with external partners when required.
  • Contributing ideas and insights to improve fraud prevention processes and strengthen our customer protection efforts.

About you | Your background, skills and personality

Career image
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, economics (3+ years of experience in a similar field).
  • Know‑how: Good knowledge of MS Office; ideally SQL basics; strong analytical skills.
  • Business knowledge: 3+ years of experience in a similar field.
  • Fluency in German and English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Transparency and communication: Clear and direct communication style with a commitment to engage openly and constructively, maintaining.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, navigating change effectively.
  • Collaboration and teamwork: A natural team player who thrives in a flat organisational structure and actively contributes to the collective success of the team.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience in working collaboratively across different teams and departments to foster agility and innovation.
  • Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
